Sound of FullSac Cores compared to American Outlaw
« on: February 17, 2019, 11:11:51 PM »

Traded my 13 Ultra for a 18 CVO RG love the look of the Black Titanium exhaust.

So if you want to keep and use the stock heat shields seems like your options are limited

I have yet to find an aftermarket full exhaust with a similar Black Chrome/Titanium finish.

About the only option I have found is swapping the baffles in the dtock mufflers, question is really how is the sound really?  I had Freedom Performance American Outlaws which is a true dual 2.5 to 4.5 megaphone design that were a bit loud lol

Wondering how the Fullsac baffle seap really sounds or what if any otjer options are out there that let you keep the stock look or atleast a similar one.

I had the Fullsac 2.0” baffles and DX header on my 14 SERK. It sounded great.

I’m going to try some TAB Performance BAM stick slip ons on my 18 RG as you can use the stock heat shields with them.

Most any 4" non megaphone style mufflers will work with your original muffler heat shields.

Having been on this forum since before Fullsac started building exhausts specifically for CVOs, I haven't seen a poll but I'm guessing more CVO owners riding with Fullsac than any other exhaust system.  Jusayinzall

I agree.
I bought my true dual setup from him in 2008 for my 1995 and then headers and cores on every bike since.
Never looked back.
Found products and customer service to be outstanding. No need to shop anything else.

Of course this is JMHO as always.

Fullsac is my first choice but J&P cycle has a huge baffle selection if you want to explore options... I got some Rush cores they fit the cvo cans and have sizes from inch to 3 inch baffle core, that i installed on  a03 glide ...

Give these New Pipes a look... Might be what your looking for..

The Tab performance 4” slip ons, as mentioned you can use your stock heat shields and also your stock end caps. The Zombie baffles are very loud, haven’t heard their other baffle set up.
Like yourself I haven’t found anything aftermarket to match the HD black chrome. I did find a full exhaust by Khrome Werks with an “Eclispe” finish that matches the other color exhaust tha HD is using, like on the ‘19 Red Pepper Road Glide.
Good luck in your search
