Yes it is, thanks for sharing. :2vrolijk_21: I'm just so glad times have changed and whether we agree or disagree w/why our troops are in the middle east we respect and appreciate the job they are doing. I'm so thankful that those in the Armed Services now aren't being treated like the Vietnam Vets when they came home.

Agreed...these men and women place their lives in harms way so that others can enjoy the very freedom they protect.

God Bless 'em.

This hits so close to home for me. I was lucky, only 15 when Vietnam ended. But I have always had a big place in my heart for all of the Vets. I never pass an opportunity to thank a Vietnam Vet and an hardy hand shake and "Welcome Home". I did it even today, noticed a fellow rider at a local pub with a Vietnam Veteran patch. I walked right up and told him "Thank you, Welcome Home". I have brought tears to the eyes to these HERO'S at times with these honest words.
To all you GREAT VETERANS........Thank You.     Wrongway

ERNIE, THANKS FOR POSTING SOME GOOD NEWS. :2vrolijk_21: THESE SOLDIERS NEED THAT BUT SOME WILL NEED MUCH MORE AS THEY TRY TO ADAPT TO CIVILIAN LIFE AGAIN AFTER THE TRAUMA OF WAR.

One thing that amazes me is the Patriotism of you Americans,  whenever I get the opportunity to come and visit your country, houses have flags on display and your cars all have the support our troops stickers.  I think it's  wonderful.
As an ex-serviceman of 25years I can honestly say you put my home country England to shame.  If we display our Union Jack outside the home the local authority will fine us.   In fact if we are not allowed to say anything political in case it offends some of our British Muslims.   And the treatment of oursoldiers is nothing short of shameful.   Some wounded soldiers have even had to pay for their own treatment.

Keep it up and God bless you all.

Man that warms the heart, and what a great thing to see. Don't suppose those kinds of people get the press they deserve when compared to the protestor types.  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks Ernie!
