« on: July 03, 2007, 05:22:00 AM »

Hi all I am looking at a Thunder-Max for my 07 Ultra but I can't seem to find the maps on their web site. I wanted to know what set ups maps they already have. ie muffler/ airfilter combinations for standard engine.

When you are on the TM website,
Download the Smartlink IV software, (It's free)
Install this on your computer,
Go in "EFI Map", 'EFI Map listing/definition", "Base Map Listing"
You have the list of the maps.

I think that it's not possible to have the list in other way.

Thanks Jacques

I know you told me to introduce myself when I had a previous post ...I know I know.

My bike is similar to yours I think 2007 Ultra Classic, Cherry Black/Pewter. The only changes so far have been a K&S airfilter but I am looking at changing the mufflers. This is the reason for the TMAT (I think) some say you need to change it others say that the 2007 will stand Minor changes..what are your views.

Hey Rod,

My bike is at the dealer for the head gaskets leak and the rocker boxes problems.
I'll pick up in two weeks.
It was stock for the warranty.

I spoke with my dealer and he agree for the TM because he's able to put again the ECM without signature if I've another problem with the engine.

I've dresser duals with oval slip-ons, a Roll Your Own A/C with K&N filter and the TM/AT.
When my bike come back, I'll install these.
It's one way for the problem of heat and to ride with an acceptable performance for this bike.

It exist the two situations with the TM :
- All is right and it's funny
- you need minor changes and the support of Zippers is not good.

In France, we have not many tuners only the dealers with the SERT.
But with a SERT, if you change something ( exhausts, cams,...) you need another tuning (more money..).

IMHO, I think the TM is the best product on the market.
The Maps are free.
If you change something, you download the nearest Map of your configuration and the TM will learn and adapt the better adjustements, alone in autotune mode.
Always, It'll be the best compromise between Torque/HP.

Same the SERT, you have the advanced mode but it's for the specialists.

B is correct, go to the website and download the software, and the maps are there.  Install of the TMAX is simple, and so is downloading the maps. Make sure you read the install and setup manual. It looks complicated, but it is not, it is clear, but we are here to help if you need it.  Here are the links:
