Hey guys, whats up? I have just recently purchased an 08 Springer Softail CVO. Since I bought the bike, I have been doing a touch or research to see what the rave is all about. I havent recieved the bike yet it should be here any day now. Since I have been looking around on this site, I see there are a ton of peeps having problems with theirs. There are very few posts about an 08 yet, which would stand to reason, but I was wondering if there were any out there that have a few miles on them yet. Does anyone know what the actual power is on them, what they are comparible to, any feedback or thoughts on them?

Welcome from West Michigan.  Your new springer is a work of art.  Post some pics when you get it!  I've had no troubles with mine so far, but only have 650 miles on her.

Well thanks to all for the feedback. My original thoughts were to pick up an 08 heritage, but when I went in and saw the book on the sringer, I had to put my money down. The build date was for April. One day I was walking in the showroom, perusing like normal, and the sales guy called me in his office and told me that I couldn't get the orange one like I wanted, however I could have an aniversary one if I wanted it. The other catch was that the bike was built October 5 instead. So now I get the bike just in time for the snow to fly. I sure am glad thats what them there states are for...My wife, dad and I are planning a trip to LA by truck, then a ride across to Miami and back in Jan-Feb.
