Welcome Delpi,     well here goes I Have an 07 springer 110 with V&H 2into 1 sert and K&N open air breather it has been tuned by a very knowledgeable turner .The bike dyno at 104 hp and 118 tq  but it runs hot 250 degrees at the oil tank . Just had it retuned  by the same shop but diffrent tuner and it lost hp and tq and now is runing at 260 in the oil tank . is this all an air fuel ratio mix problem or what is the problem?????????? BTW the bike is back at the dealer for round 3 on the dyno.....   what is your take on this bun warmer ..... tks

Delfi,

Welcome from Oklahoma!

08 SEUC with V&H Big Shot Duals and SE backplate on the AC.  No other mods.

In your opinion, what should I do PC, SERT, or....?

Delphi,  I can really use some help, if you can.

Three some years ago, I bought a bike and the a HD shop assured me that with a race tuner and new pipes and air cleaner they could really make it work well.  Some 500-600 $ later ----- bike runs like doo doo!  I can't find anyone to tune the race tuner, so I buy a power commander and get bike tuned 0 all is well with the world.  For lots of reasons we don't need to go into, but my power commander is disconnected and I can't quite locate it.  So bike is running off original tuned from race tuner and again, pipes are turning dark yellow and bike kind of chokes.  What should I do?

Sure would be nice to hear from you again.

Welcome to the board.  It is kinda fun sometimes.

If you're the real deal, welcome aboard.

It sounds to me like the tuners are simply looking at how the bike is running at WOT. Very few tuners spend most of there effort focusing on the mid-range and drivability issues. Do you know if they are using a load control on there dyno? Do you have a race tuner?

The next step if you don't have it already is an EFI Race Tuner.

Delphi, we welcome your input here.

You're in the New Member Introduction section of the web site.  Your questions and answers might be better served if they are viewed by all, if you'd care to start a thread in General CVO Discussion.

Delphi,
I see you are in Arizona. Do you have your own dyno and if so where are you located? I am having some motor work done and will be in need of a good tune once the break in is complete.
