Jeff, I've tried lots of different products and the one I prefer is the S100 paste wax.  If you really want a deep shine use the S100 shine enhancer  before...it's like a polish to remove those small scratches that  show up in dark colors.  The S100 wax has two major advantages in my estimation.....it's quick and easy.  It goes on and comes off easy.  Just don't do more than a small area and then wipe off (like one fender or a tank) If you try to put it on the whole bike before taking it off, it will dry and be hard to come off.  Also, if you get it on any black surfaces (hard plastic, rubber, etc) it doesn't leave the white residue as other waxes/polishes do)  I wish I owned stock in that company, 'cause they've got a good product.   [smiley=7.gif]   Keep the shiny side up!   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]   Har!   spyder

Yes, what Spyder said.  I use it on the bike and the old cars.  Good stuff, easy to use and forgiving when it gets on non-metallics.

Well, here's three votes for the S100 stuff that Spyder's talking about, but if you want a good one-step shine, the new Meguiars NXT wax is pretty hard to beat, IMHO.

I use this stuff called Protect All for A quick wipe & shine. It comes in A blue spray can. I found it at the HD dealer. The stuff can be sprayed on anything & works like a wax. Good for keeping that california salt air off the shinney things or whatever you spray it on. Enjoy your new ride JEFF [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Thanks for the info as I am going to use S100 along with the micro fiber clothes and even a fellow riding friend is going to help me wash n wax my bike. Like I said I love to ride but cleaning the bike has never been a favorite of mine. I have a motorcycle lift and a couple of roll about chairs, so the process should go smooth as the guy thats going to help is a perfectionist and thats just what my new HD deserves. Think I will also get me some of that Protect All for times I just give the HD a wash and want a quick shine.

I will get a couple of pics after the bike gets its first shine.

Geez, I feel like a proud new dad as I am always showing pics of the new arrival.

Never used the S100, I have been using a product called ZAINO.  It is a fairly time consuming process but the results make it worth while. It makes the bike look wet all the time. www.zainobros.com

Another vote for S-100..I also use H-D products, they are  very good. Congrats on your new bike. I know the "proud new Dad"  feeling. I have had mine for a year and am still showing it off. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I'm always looking for something to give my bike some extra sparkle, so I've tried about everything out there...and, being a sucker for new products, I tried some of the new Crystal-Glo polish (http://crystal-glo.com/usa/bike/) that I read folks ravings about on another forum.  It goes on easy, and looks good, but I can't tell that it looks any better than any of the dozen or more products that I have used.  Oh well...maybe it will last longer than the others and at least I'll get something extra out of it, but I doubt it.

Another vote for the S100 products, great stuff. Local dealership carries it and I've seen it at a few autoparts stores. Also tried Mirage products found at Beemer & Poor-shhheee stealerships. But, S100 goes on easy and seems to last much better than the H-D stuff. Lexol on the leather goodies. Great looking ride !!
