Thanks for giving me a hard time in Maggie Valley

When I was in Maggie Valley (Soggy Valley) last year with the CVO group, I started thinking [smiley=idea.gif] about how much precipitation were we really receiving and what was the true distribution of rainfall (how much and where). So over the winter I created an experimental precipitation site for the National Weather Service:

Now you do know we were not truly holding you personally responsible for all the rain, but if the ribbing got you to dabble with this new web format for rain prediction and you get to make some money or increased prestige because of it, we are so happy for you.  I can remember you awaiting your fatboy and all the changes you made to it like it was yesterday.  I know you are loving the new SEUC now.  Can't wait to see you again in Maggie Valley this fall.

Nice website Rain Man.

Oh yes I remember that day. Lets do the Dragon today no rain in the forcast. My glasses got fogged up I couldn't see and had to pull over. Luckly REO stopped to make sure I was ok. Almost made the wrong turn too.

Put 10,000 miles on the Road King last season riding with DJW. Can't wait to get back out there.
