bus error - 2007 FXSTSSE
« on: March 13, 2010, 02:10:30 PM »

Put my bike away for the winter last fall, went to start it yesterday and am getting a bus error on the odometer.  Any ideas on how to clear this?

BUS Error is a short/low/open/high on the serial communication line that connenect the Speed Ind, Tach, TSSM and ECM. Most likely moisture in one of the plugs. I beleive Dick W is very well versed on this issue you may want to send him a PM.
