i have worked in a auto shop for 30yrs. my ears are shot and i need to protect what i have left. i have these on my 07 ultra w/ fuel pack and filter kit. it runs awesome. i hate the sound. way to loud and if i put the quiet baffles in they are only good for 3-5 db. some one mentioned klock werks slip ons. these v&h are coming off and going to someone who wants a loud good sounding bike.

I've never actually seen anyone running those- funny on V&H's website, they show them on a O/B SERG. I think they are their basic slip ons with those eagle beak tips added on, so ya, I think the basics are louder than most of their slip ons.

Sounds like you'd be happy with a set of 1.75" fullsac baffles, or something along those lines.

Also I don't think the Klockwerks are known to be quiet.
