That price is probably for the lights only.  If you want the driving lights you will also need to buy the kit to mount them to your SESG as well.  They are worth it....MUCH better than stock.

I put the Phase 7 on my SG, and I had to pick my jaw up off the tank the first time I rode with it.  Damn!

Personally, I like the clean look without the running lights.  IMHO.  I'm sure they're helpful, but not necessary with the LED headlight.

Either way, you can't go wrong.  :2vrolijk_21:

I went with the Trucklite Phase 7 headlight about four month ago.  About two hundred bucks cheaper, has a better warranty and lights like all get out.  The driving lights and headlights cost less than just the Harley headlight.  You'll want to order the Frenched trim ring for your headlight, because the headlight sticks out about a half inch more and looks a little funny.

Still, this headlight lights the road to the front and sides much better than stock.  Happy hunting!

Yes, I went just with the HD LED and it was night and day better than the dual halogen set-up.

I went with the Trucklight Phase 7 and would do it again in a heartbeat. I love they way they look on the bike and especially how well they light the road in front and to the side so I can spot those wild critters in the ditch  before they dart in front of me.

Gotta ask.....

08 SERK...

Aftermarket HID ( high beam is useless as it pointed towards mars). And 75watt motorlite lights down below on the front axle.....  I modulate the high beam using a higher output bulb....  Thought about hid Motoport....

Is the led brighter????  Can you modulate the hi beam ( you can w hid)

I agree with the guys on the Trucklite. Lower cost and longer warranty compared to the HD unit unless you buy the HD LED at the same time as you purchase your bike (so I've been told). Cost is still higher though. Reckon I better order up my new bezel though since I'll be home around the of August. But both version sound like they are worth the upgrade. Heck I thought the stock light did a good job, can't wait to try out the new ones. The lines in the Trucklite look kinda funky but they are heat sinks for the lights. The HD brand are a bit different as well but hey we're after function over beauty.
