windshield question
« on: January 13, 2013, 07:21:56 PM »

Does anyone know if the harley 7" wind splitter windshield will clear the 660 zumo GPS on a  2013 CVO ultra ? When my ride arrives in February I'm looking at changing out the stock windshield for either the wind splitter or a 6.5" Klock Werks flare. I'm 5'11" with a 30" inseam and I'm thinking these would be about the right for me. I welcome all feedback. Thanks.

Go with Long Ride Shield, less expensive and works way better in my opinion. I tried several and you cant beat the quality, price and customer service of the LRS. Go 8" and you will be able to see over it and if you have a back seat rider they will be happy too

I've got the 8.5 klock works on mine I'm 5'10" think it work great some wind but did seem to help with some of the buffeting. I don't know about the GPS fitting with a shorter kw but 8.5 would be fine.

I don,t think any windshield will interfere with the GPS. Freedom shields makes a nice windshield also, that,s the one I went with...

Had a Long Ride, now run a Freedom. Both are great, go with whats on sale! Windsplitter and Klock are a little to much for me.

According to the people at Klock Werks, 6.5 " flared and the 3.5 " flared will not work with the stock location of the GPS.  I checked with 2 local HD dealers and they have not been able to confirm or deny if the 4.5 " windsplitter will work. I would also be interested if anyone else has tried these.
