I have the Level IV system. Fairing, lowers, bags and the Arc amp.  All I can say is AWESOME!  Pete and his staff were great.  You will have no regrets.

Ditto. The best I have heard. Had it installed in my 12 SERG. Pete is also awesome.

I love taking people out to the parking lot at work and letting the listen to it. No one can believe how clear and loud it is.

Same here, I got the Level IV and love it. I went with the 4 channel Amp and put HAT 6X9 in the lids. Soundz made it simple to install, no cutting or rewiring to install the system. And as everyone said Pete is great to deal with.

I think the only prob in going with the the 4 channel amp vs two 2 cannels is you can't fade between the front and back speakers. Just FYI

Got the system installed today. Pete worked on my bike for 2 hours and did a great job. HATS in the lids and 165KRC's up front powered by an Arc Audio 127.4 mini. Absolutely fantastic, had to ride 4 hours to Delmarva to connect with Pete and it was worth it. By the way, with the 4 channel amp, the fade works as normal.

Contemplating the stage 4 setup for my RG as well.
Question, is it an absolute noticeable increase in sound levels? I ask because I have
tinnitus in one ear from a workplace accident, so I always wear earplugs now to avoid any further damage to the one,
and damage at all to the good one I have left lol.

The stock setup is "ok" for hearing like this. But I'd certainly like more, hence the search for an upgrade.
Just a lot of beans for something that may only be 10% louder? Or is it closer to say 40%?

TIA

I don't hear so good either so for me I'd say it is not only louder sound but much clearer.
Also , and I can't explain this , but at highway speeds I can hear just as good id not better with my Shoei RJ air 3/4 helmet as I can with a baseball cap.
Its definitely worth the money spent in my book ! Again , all I have is fairing speakers ,and lower fairing speakers. I left the stock harley tweeters in place to fill the hole in the dash but did not hook them up. The tweeters in the focals are plenty , at least for me.

If the install is done correctly as mine was, there is not even a comparison to be made! I could hear my tunes clear at 70 mph at only 3 or 4 bars on the volume control and anything over 40% max volume actually was too loud for me.
Few things I learned, the tweeter cross-over has to be adjusted professionally and the amp has multiple adjustments that have to be made. Pete spent a good 20 minutes tuning the sound system to get it right. But the best benefit is not volume, its the cleanest audio quality I have ever heard in a motorcycle audio system and I've heard just about all of them.

Well there you have it.. Thanks for the replies guys, much appreciated!!
Looks like I'll be calling Pete and ordering a kit for a winter install.
Is there an advantage to upgrading the speakers? Or are the Focals in the kit
badass enough to not worry?
One last thing, how deep are they? With the speakers in the lids I notice a fair amount of storage loss with the shallow stockers in place...

You have to replace the speakers. Boom CVO speakers are crap next to the Focal 165 KRC. The lid speakers are separate, I used the Hybrid speakers. Call Pete and he can help you.
http://soundzcustomz.com/price-list/
You don't gain or lose any space in the bags. He uses the same plastic baskets to install the lid speakers.

Pete and the boys did part of my system last Daytona and I ended up doing 4 more bag speakers and lids in Myrtle.  No comparing to the HD crap, J&M crap etc.  Soundz is the best in the country.

I also have the Level IV kit, front fairing and lowers. Pete is an awesome guy to work with, I emailed him I don't recall how many times asking question and he even personally called me to talk. Very detailed kit, all plug and play.....sounds AWESOME compared to my J&M system. I installed it myself, took my time and have had 0 problems and get lots of compliments on the sound.

Resurrecting an old thread, getting ready to order the kit.

Couple questions, would I be better off going with level 4 and upgrading to the 4 channel Arc amp and say HAT 5x7 for the lids?

Or going level 5 and getting the upgraded fairing speakers? I can't really hear my lid speakers right now if I fade it all the way back,
so for my ears all the sound is coming from the fairing anyways..

Or would the added power/better speakers in the lids make for a better combo for momma while she's on the back seat?

Decisions, decisions lol..
Thanks for any pointers in advance

Here is a thread to what I had installed on my bike:  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=90024.0

Simply no reason to mess with success.  I have the HAT's in the bags, and they will be good enough for your BSR.  I did add the tweeters to the standard system, and I like them since I do wear a musician type ear plug while riding to cut down the wind noise.  You will not be disappointed.

I love the work Pete does but he is shutting down my idea on my system. I e-mailed him to ask what I needed to install a Clarion NZ503 flip-out NAV unit and he said I should really consider anything else than a flip-out and that the unit WILL eventually fail. He is pushing me to the Sony 310BT unit, but in reality, it doesn't do what I want. Not sure why he wont sell me the install kit I need regardless of the headunit I, the customer, wants.  Any ideas?

I think Pete has enough experience with products that work well and probably wants to stay away from products that will give him issues later on.  He is busy enough I'm sure to sell what works and not get involved with things that don't or just won't hold up.   I would go with his recommendations. Pete really came through. Everything for install worked like a charm, he even programmed the PAC-SWI handlebar controller for me. Everything was plug and play except the headunit part of the wiring. He even walked me through the rear speaker set-up for the CVOs. Top-notch service from Soundz Customz!!!!!!

Yup got mine installed last night, no chance to listen to it on the open road as under snow still, but the garage test is crazy!
Even with deci-damps in, the sound was nuts. Have no doubt I'll be able to hear it easily...

I just had Peter install two amps and 8 speakers on my 2011 RG ultra. The crew in Daytona was fabulous. I went to other vendors at the 110 rally in Milwaukee and last years biketober fest. No other vendor took the time or made the effort to answer my questions. I even missed my original appointment with Peter and they quickly made arrangements to accommodate my needs. The Stereo sounds out of this world. Use these guys they are the best..... Ivan

Just wanted to chime in and share my experience.  As all have stated, I think Pete and the folks at SC are awesome.  However, perhaps it's unique to my bike...2012 SESG...maybe something with the electrical system???, but I purchased the level IV fairing setup/amp and on two occasions now I've had to replace the same upper left fairing speaker...just starts rattling/crackling. Pete has been very responsive and quickly sent out a replacement.  My fear is that this is going to keep happening if we keep replacing it (don't think it's a case of just a bad speaker...twice!?!?).  So, needless to say, I'VE been a little disappointed with my upgrade, even though it was a noticeable improvement over the stock junk!  Given that I'm about 19 hours from SC, it's difficult to have Pete look at the bike.  I did the install. Just curious to know if anyone else has run into this??? Thoughts? Thanks!

I had the same issue with my Focals. Pete replaced 2 of mine as well. The tweeter came unglued and started rattling. The speaker isn't really made for bikes and the glue isn't strong enough due to the rattles. IMHO of course.
