I didn't finish this up "today" but figured I'd post my before/after photos of the paint matched docking station from last week. I ride solo only and prefer no docking station, but need it for the tour pack on trips. Figured I'd get it matched along with those caps that cover the hardware. Just hitting the details!

Very nice. I hadn’t thought of doing that. Was going to get mine done in black but will have to think again. Thanks for posting

Installed a Hayden M6 BT07 primary chain tensioner today. Took it out for a ride and all sounds good shifting gears good and no leaks.

Washed and waxed. It takes me (and my OCD) about 3 hours to get the job done. I wonder if that's why I here the Gilligans Island tune in my head as I'm cleaning?  :nixweiss:

Cerakoted the heatshields. Stuff is rated to 1800 degrees and keeps the heat in. Looks nice. At some point, I will install black 4.5" Rinehart slip-ons.

I had one of my guns cerakoted and it came out great. Never thought about the temps and how durable it is. Could come in handy in the future. Keep us posted on how well they hold up.

Looks great. Now I’ve just got to find somewhere in the UK that does it.

Just started back riding after March knee scope.  Noticed my shift levers getting loose at the spline connection at rear of linkage shaft.  Rainy day Sunday so took the linkage apart and find the pinch bolt is showing some thread damage but otherwise splines look good.  Cleaned it all up and putting it back together today with new bolts, re-torqued to new spec and lots of blue Loctite.

satuday had to replace rear tire cause I picked up a screw, had 9k on the C2  and the tread was good and only very slight to no cupping  :-\ . today dropped it off at HD shop to get head bearings tightened up.... it just started the shake thing, should be ready to for the season once that's done, fingers crossed
