Just part of riding, treat it as a badge of honor! Gotten road chips on just about every bike I've owned on long trips.

Just seems to have chipped up a lot earlier in its life, an easier than the other.  I average 24K a year on my bikes.  This one has more at 3800 miles than the last two did together at over 20K each.

Rode her again yesterday after all cleaned up.  Ordered the touch up paint.

replaced the battery in Beauregard yesterday.  Hoping to be back on two wheels in a month or so.  Sure did feel good working on it yesterday, smelling that exhaust and straddling it in the driveway.  Dang it folks, I sure do miss and love riding... ;D

Rode her into work today!! I just got her all cleaned up after the wet ride back from Daytona.  I used a F11 knock off called " The Last Coat", we'll see how long she stays clean.  :pepper:

Went down to Danny Gray and ordered a buttcrack seat with airhawk.
The nice lady there said it will take longer than normal since they are getting ready to move the shop.
On the upside I get to save on shipping since I can just go pick it up 👍

When I bought mine I was between Zombie's and none at all as I am trying to improve sound. I spoke to Cassie who is one of the co owners and he told me the sound is much deeper with the Zombie's and of course no baffles hurts low end considerably (his words). He did say it was possible to get some of that performance back with tuning but since I am running the Harley tuner for warranty reasons not sure that is possible.
I am having them installed next week and looking forward to hearing them in person. After running them for a while I may try and remove the baffles and see how they sound and perform for my self, will see.
As a FYI, Cassie told me that 9 out of 10 pipes he sells are with the zombie baffles.
Got bike back yesterday and the mufflers sound incredible. Never would have thought bike could sound that good with the cats still in. Very deep note and great volume for morons like me that like loud pipes. Looking forward to a nice long ride checking out the "super bloom" out here with the new set up.

Tore up the wheel on the rear of the FXR.  Doing some spring maintenance and the rear rotor bolts were seized.  Probably never removed once in their 30 years in place.  Four of the five holes lost threads with the bolts coming out.  The fifth looked and felt qustionable.  Pulley side good though.  Rotor side FUBAR.  Thank goodness for a flat table to work on and a set of Time-serts already in the tool box.  Had exactly five sleeves left and used them all.

Oh yeah, me too, biggest reason the wheel was off.  Then I got sidetracked by "other problems."

New tires. :)
Yea, did that also. Went with American Elites as the C2's not available for the front tire on the Roadglide. Dealer thinks I will like them same as the C2's I run on my 12 Roadglide. Any opinions?
