Those that have had their limited awhile

So what is a couple of things you should of, would of, could of, had on the limited from the day you brought it home,     Mine arrives in a few weeks and what to make this experience great

Pipes. Tuners.  Upgrades.   You name it.

New header to get rid of the cat, tuner to get it running right.  I'd keep stock pipes, they'll sound decent with a catless header (I recommend fullsac X-pipe).  I also recommend TTS Mastertune.  I added other things, Progressinve 440's, iPod dock, lots of chrome, but none of it was stuff I had to have.  Although, the progressive suspension upgrades front and rear did help quite a bit.

Believe it or not, I haven't added anything in the 6 mo. I've had it and I think it's perfect as it is.
It's hitting the mid 80's here in Louisiana and I just opened the doors in the lowers. On my '11 I would have long ago removed the lowers because my leg was roasting and now I can't even feel any warmth on the outside of the boot heel with my hand. I'd ride it a while before I threw more cash at it.
You might like it stock you might not....

New header to get rid of the cat
This  ^^^^^^.  The only thing I wish it had that it didn't was the adjustable driver backrest.  Took the one off my FLTRU and I'm much more pleased.

IMO, it is pretty darned good stock.  I made some personal changes but not because the stock bike/items are bad.

New rear shocks is a must. That would be the #1 item before you spend money on anything else.

I went with Öhlins and it's a large improvement over the air shocks.

The one thing I wish it had is pandora built into the stereo. It would be nice to play it while plugged into the bike instead of through bluetooth.

Still totally stock, not rushing into anything. Seems to have a little more power stock over my '13 RGCVO. Great bike.

So far stock except I did add the smoked brake light on the luggage rack and added the chrome piece across the back of the trunk.

Had mine since Nov and have not changed anything.  Purchased the CVO so I didn't need to spend a lot of money adding accessories to it.   Maybe cup holders so the passenger doesn't have to hold the drink and pass it back and forth.

I think cups holders are a must in Texas.      Anyone have nice ones installed yet. Pics or such.   Driver and passenger.

Hi:

I just ordered these from JP Cycles.  They re-worked them for the 2014s.  Kinda' big, but WTH we are in Texas.

I like how they used the Red CVO as the model  ;D

I am curious about the difference de-catting makes? I am assuming a programmer and dyno session are required as well?
How noticeable is the difference? I have already installed the street Cannons and am quite happy with them, how does the sound change without the cats?

Got mine April 1, replaced stock mufflers with Cobra slip-ons.  Disappointed, brought back the next day and added Cobra header (to remove cat) and returned Cobra slip-ons for 4" Rinehart slip-ons, race tuner, dyno tune.  It runs much better after these changes, still not as well as my '08 CVO.  Will get final dyno tune at 1k miles.  Added led lights to saddlebags, luggage rack, front and rear led turn signals (custom dynamics, very cool), chrome trim on tour pack.  Needs shorter windshield (smoked looks much better) and adjustable highway peg brackets.  Loving it more every day. Totally different ride than '08.
