S&S V124 Front Head Gasket Blown

My S&S V124 front Head gasket blew out today when  I started to leave house. I was lucky it wasn't out in the middle of No where! I head a pop and saw smoke coming out on the left side of the motor. I could feel air coming out from between the head and cylinder.
I plan to use Cometic Head and Cylinder Base gaskets. Hopefully they will hold up better than  the S&S gaskets. Going withe .040" thickness.
