What "fits"?

Hi folks, I am new to the group and appreciate the opportunity to join.  I ride an 02 Fatboy that, over the years, I have added saddlebags from a Heritage, a windshield from I don't know where, lol, speakers, and a few performance mods. 

I want to add an auxiliary light bar from a 06 Electroglide that I was given and a windshield from a Road King that I found pretty cheap.  The trouble with this mix is I don't really know what parts are interchangeable from what bikes.

I would appreciate any guidance the members can offer.

Your Fatboy is from the Softtail family. Thus, many Softail parts will fit but that is not a guarantee. After that, I think it's trial and error.

Sell the Electra Glide & Road King stuff & get things for Softtails, you'll be way ahead.  If, on the other hand, you're a machinist & a bear for punishment you can make most anything fit anything.

If it doesn't fit but "almost" fits & you want it to fit, Dremmel is your friend.
