I have ridden around 700 miles on my new screaming eagle and I have a noise around the gas tank to develop. I only hear it when
I hit a hard bump . It sounds as if it is under the front part of the tank or under the speedometer . Has anyone had this problem ?

I had the same happen with my 09. It turns out the tank was not tightened down enough. I tightened it up and the noise went away.

I had the same issue. The tank bolt loosened. I would recommend that when you take it to the dealer that they check every bolt on the bike.

Same issue at about 750 miles. Tightened tank bolts... then checked every bolt on the bike.

Friend of mine had same thing with his 09. They had to tighten the tank and i haven't heard anything about it since.

Some more of that fine CVO fastener torque control displayed on pretty much all models. So much for "hand built" factory custom quality.
