Does anyone know if a 1996 Road King seat can fit a 2002 Road King? I know that there are few differences with the mounting but is this possible ??, I wouldn't mind minor alterations :bananarock: Thanks!!

02 SE Road King? If so that's a dash that is specific to the 02,03 and 07 SERKs. Saddles from other Road Kings, some of the Street Glides or the SEEG will get close to the tail of that dash. But they'll leave a small gap.

i do not believe that they will fit - i think that i mounts on the front of the seat are different. i think that the 96 has a tab off of the tank for the seat, and the 97 and up -has a slot in the frame just below the tank- for a tab thats mounted to the seat.....

Yes, im aware of the front mount, but is the frame the same, I could fabricate something to lock down the front, well we will see, I bought a 96 Mustang 3 piece seat for a great price! If it works Great, if not Ebay it will be! :pepper: :2vrolijk_21:
