CB problem - help needed

If you haven't yet double check to make sure you've got very good grounds also Jerry.  Couple times over the years have chased noise in a radio that ended being due to poor grounds.

Not sure as he's had his headset on.  I'll get him to check.

Thanks Don.  We have as far as we can tell all is good.

UPDATE:  he tells me he bought a new cable and while he did not install it the cable was long enough for him to hook up to the radio and the CB antenna but it made no difference.
