hd-dude, At the time of your bike purchase, you bought that luscious Two Tone Cherry SEEG at the going price in your area. It seems that the tides are turning, or maybe it is the sign of people not wanting to buy a CVO in the "Off" seasons, but from the reports we are seeing in the SEEG thread about "does anyone know where a red one is".... there are a lot of CVO bikes sitting on floors of dealerships who would just love to move them out. So we go back to the very old adage "Supply and Demand." As long as there is more Demand than Supply.... prices can go up. I just completed my Customer Satisfaction Survey on the purchase of my new bike and sent it back to whomever their survey people are, and the dealership that delivered my bike got pretty much a perfect score. In the write in area, however, I told my tale of dealer markups and I implored the MoCo to step in and make their dealers honest. Make them sell at MSRP. It is only the fair thing to do.
