Title: Fans on 2015 CVO Roadglide Ultra
Post by: roadrunner on July 25, 2019, 08:05:58 AM
Morning all,

I noticed while pulling into a parking garage on a 99+ day that the fans were on, turned off the bike and the right fan wasn't putting out any air.

When I manually turn on the fans via the throttle you can feel air on both sides.

Is this normal, I still have the older design.

Cheers!

My understanding of the system is that the left fan comes on first, then if the temperature rises higher the right fan also comes on.  In other words, it depends on the coolant temperature.  When you run the test mode, both fans run.

I believe so.  Depending on the coolant temperature, the left fan will start first and if necessary, the right fan will come when needed.    If you tested your fans via the throttle and they  both ran, you should be fine.

I see you have a TTS, if you have a map from Steve, he has fans set a lill different from stock map... FYI. mine work same as you described, same fullsac set up as you also.   1.75s, only difference
