:) I finally got a production date for my Spiced Rum Feb.2010 :) :mango: :bananarock: :orange:

Yes they are way harder to get (it Seems) in Canada. On the first round of allocation, my dealer told me there were only 16 FLHXSE's released in Ontario by Deeley. Mine is a January build and should be here in Feb.
You being Canadian too... i wonder if you noticed this... I saw this one at our "Biketoberfest" here in Fenwick.
This is our Canadian Government and their over zealous safety standards working hard at screwing the best looking ass end of a bike i've seen!!! (see pic below)
Oh well... i still love the thing anyway... Can't wait!!! Congrats on yours too!

Thanks :) One of the dealers put one on the floor today, so I went a had my first look at one in person today (finally), it looked better than I imagined. The rear brake light didn't look as bad as I thought it would, however the American rear fender is definitely better looking. :2vrolijk_21: It's going to be a long winter :( HDNIK congrats to you too !! :)

WOW what the heck. The rear fender looks well lets just say WRONG!!!! :jack:

Yeah like the two 8" tall red LED lamps wouldn't be bright enough...so some government knucklehead decides to make those amber signals and replace them with an 1156 single filiment brake light bulb :confused5:
But like Hawg says... it's not as noticeable as you'd think in because you're too busy drooling over the rest of the bike... thank goodness :2vrolijk_21:

Congrats...learned today that my "Tequila" has a production date of January 2010...it's going to be a long winter...whats a guy to do...where's that new parts catalogue!! :cherry:

Maybe a smoked taillight lens would help?
-
Now you've got me thinking... I can get a nice smoked and laid back LED tail lamp... but i wonder if there is a smoked replacement lenses for the amber ones we get for turn signals here?
-
I have now decided to swap out the rear fender and fit domestic rear LEDs when I get my HDI at the end of the year, if I see a copper I will do hand signals.

This is the tail picture of a member's bike (Trey767) here at CVOHarley. I have to find out where he got these parts and would they work on this application
