EBAY or try to sell it here.....but you never know when the EPA is going to start to get strict and that new system does not have the factory stamps on the pipes. If, for some strange reason, you would have to buy that headpipe again from the MoCo it is about $700. Mine is in the loft section above the garage. Just my $.02

Another vote for keeping the stock parts.  I seriously doubt you would get all that much for it on eBay (after all, how many people are looking to add stock pipes to a bike?), and if future changes in the law meant having to buy all those parts from your friendly dealer and the MoCo, you would find that you would quickly have a bill for more than what you paid for the V&H parts.  Once you sell or trade the bike, then unload all the takeoff parts.

Besides, if you don't use the basement or attic to store all your bike stuff, the better half will just have more room to store all those "treasures" she finds antiquing or flea marketing.  Need to nip that stuff in the bud. ;)

Keep it. For all the reasons above, plus...when it's collectible, the original parts are important.

I threw mine in the dumpster at work. Never need to worry about them again.

Those mufflers were worth about $175-$200 on EBAY or to a member here.

I'll take all your take off parts if you're just going to throw them away......and I'll pay for shipping. :2vrolijk_21:

I think it was about 2002 that I quit trying to keep take off parts (I was going to have to start sleeping in the car).  But I've done ok on ebay with selling stuff.  It always amazes me what people are willing to pay for what I consider junk.

Personally, I bought a pair of SESG take off exhausts for the wife's 09 Street Glide (added Fullsac baffles)........

Hi,
I would buy them if you ship them to Germany. My SR will be ready to pick up the 16th. The Regular German exh sounds like a BMW :(

If I had any idea somebody wanted them I gladly would have gave them to one of you guys. They sounded so awful I was embarrassed to keep them around. Also I sold a set of Bassanis on ebay yesterday with extra baffles and my original head pipes for 170.00 minus fees.

I've never kept take off parts before, I'm doing it now.  Just seems like the smart thing to do.
