Dressing up the lame air cleaner insert
« on: March 19, 2011, 09:31:23 AM »

I really think the MOCO design team did a lousy job with the air cleaner cover insert, it looks lame like it was  "OK were almost done just do this and it will be finished"
Heres what I did to dress that side up a bit with a hint of color, got tons of complements.  I tried to lengthen and give the flames more flow. It was quick and simple until I think of something better.

That looks great! Using yellow as the pinstripe was a good choice.

Looks much better!

Possibly painting the "Screamin' Eagle" yellow as well may set it off even more?  :nixweiss:

Just a thought while viewing a very nice paint job.
