That sucks all the trouble you are having.

After talking to JC at Rolling Art, he explained the difficulty in matching the CVO paint. He said since the CVO parts are painted in different factories sometimes, even the tints from the factory can differ on the same bike. That's why he insists he gets the part he's trying to match. He told me he did a fender for a guy who sent him a side panel for reference. He matched the side panel, but it did not match the fairing. Oddest of all is the factory painted fairing and side cover did not match so the owner had to decide what to match the fender paint to; the fairing or the side cover. Of course they chose to match the fairing since its closest to the fender. Just a story he related. He told me they do some of the paint work for high demand times at HD. I shipped my fenders to him last week and he got it Thursday. Really anxious to see how they turn out.

I hope it works out for your fender.

Thanks David. Yes it does suck that I waited 2 months for a really poor match. The thing tha tgot me was they hit the side with flames and pin strip perfect. It's the center color between the pinstiping that is wrong.. strange. They have assured me they will "make it right"?

Looking forward to seeing the pics of your bike.

OMG! That Wrapper is just BEAUTIFUL in the Hot Citrus/Antique Gunstock with the matching phantom flames! I figured there wouldn't be enough room on a Wrapper nor a Slicer for all that. I would love to have that done to my bike! WOW!  :2vrolijk_21:

Finally got to test fit the Level today. Fit-up was perfect. Klockworks quality is awesome. I just spoke with JC at Rolling Art and I'm shipping him my fender and the KW. He said about 3 weeks (I'll get my original back in a week).

DavidG

PLEASE  PLEASE  PLEASE  send pictures of your painted Klockworks Level on your bike when you get it completed.    Both of the Klockworks fenders look GREAT on these bikes!

Thinking of doing the Level on my Krypto!

Here is my Klockwerks fender, it is not a slicer or a wrapper. I purchased mine uncut because although I do like the way that the slicer is cut in the front, I didn't like the way it's cut in the back. I wanted the fender to come down lower
in the back like the wrapper but I don't like how that one is cut in the front. My two main reasons for doing the fender
was to show more of the wheel & to also attempt to stop or at least cut down on some of the road debris from getting
to the oil cooler. J.C. also painted mine, the match is close but not exactly perfect either, it is a good job though. :2vrolijk_21:

Absolutely stunning - another thing to add to my wish list.......little lady commented the other day about the number of boxes that keep showing up at the house after supposedly buying a custom Harley......as long as I don't complain about all the crap she orders......I'm good.....now what to do next?

My KW Slicer came out pretty nice, but the Inferno Orange on my bike has at least 3 different shades.
