Title: Will '07 Heads and Jugs fit on an '03?

Has anyone tried to retro fit the heads and jugs from an '07 to an earlier model TC?  A friend is investigating this option for his '03 88" RK.

my understanding is the intake port is different

Forgot to mention that he will also change out to the newer '06 + throttle body to accomodate the changes to the intake ports.

All we did to make this work on the wifes Street Glide is to purchase new intake flanges and all works fine :2vrolijk_21:

Need to modify my post....her bike is an 06...not an 07...sorry

I believe it you can backfit the 07 heads to any twincam if you also use the 07 intake manifold. If you're having headwork done to them before you install, the shop doing your work should know. I'd check with them before I made plans.
