Pat, great pictures.  You doubled your post count by putting them here.  It was great meeting you.  I hope you make more of these events.  What did you cover, 900 miles in 36 hours?

Hey Pat, what time did you wind up leaving? Denise and I wound up leaving at 8:00 AM. We managed to miss the storms. Wound up getting home around 2:30............The heat kicked my butt........by the time we got cleaned up, all I wanted to was sit in the air conditioning for the rest of the day

Yeah I'll try to be more of a contributor - I get sidetracked though & don't log in for a few days & then it takes a looong time to catch up on what's new & yadda yadda yadda.  :soapbox:

Yeah I think my mileage count was just about 875 total, started at 4.10 or so Saturday morning & got home about 4.10 or so Sunday afternoon so just about 36 hours exactly.  Not that I mind, I'd do it again on the drop of a dime.  In fact, I was very tempted to get on the Night Rod for a little cool-off blast when I got home.  That bike's feeling neglected  ;) 

Definitely looking forward to the next GTG.  Fun time had by all, I'll be wherever the next one is as long as schedules permit.  Oh by the way, great time to plug the as-yet-to-be-rescheduled NJ Hooters run.  Current thinking is a Saturday in late July or August.  I've got a co-planner or I'd just pick a date.  Will let y'all know on thread where I posted it originally.

Heya Fuzz,

We went over to the diner for breakfast around 9:00 - I got to the Shamrock about 8.45 I guess, sorry I missed ya.

I added a few miles heading down Rte 30 for the scenery, jumped back over to the Thruway via I-90 and made up some time (except for a 30 min rain delay!)

So, got home just after 4pm - the heat was kickin' that's for sure.  Good to hear from ya, see you again soon I hope.
