Some how I get the feeling Chip wants to show us rather then tell us.  I can't wait to see/hear this scooter getting down to business.

AHHHHHH that dOOd,

Very smart and wise man!

Have hung around motorheads to much in my life. I can tell by your written words that you had that look I've seen so many times when someone asks "What you got in that motor"? [smiley=smug2.gif] Then after you show them what it can do you have this look. [smiley=cool3.gif]

Well, FWIW, here's the link to Thunder Mountain's standard offering on the bike and (via the link) their standard catalog of options one might choose to finish it out.  Standard spec is the (for this group) low compression 103 we all know and love.  TM doesn't seem to offer a lot of direct options specific to the motor.  Which only begs the question; "has he or hasn't he; only his dresser knows for sure."

Having not yet met Chip, but the fact that he hangs around w/Hubbard and Otis would lead me to believe she's got some "juice". At least that's what the voices in my head are telling me. TwoLane you know about them don't you? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Custom built detatchable bracket. It will work and can double to be used for a backrest attatchment (if he can find anyone to ride behind him). I am sure that Drag or CCI already has a setup for the larger rear tires.

It is nice looking but as Hubbard asked WHAT ABOUT THE DRIVE TRAIN??????? I think he is only [highlight]worried [/highlight]about the engine specs!

Be Safe

THE DAWG

Naw, DAWG!  Worry is the opposite of Faith.  And I got plenty of Faith in Ol' Maudie!  See, there are only two factors absent in my calculations, to complete my Baseline for this upcoming event.  That would be the size of the Engine, (HP), and the weight of his Motorsickle, which I could probably find, with little effort.  Just so I can determine how much to "Twist the Wick."  I already know Chip's ridin' style.  It's just like mine.  WFO, top end, no mercy.  None of that, "from a dead stop chit."  That just tears chit up.  We like to start around the 85 to 90 range.   And hey, this may be the time he thumps me, but I promise you this;  He won't the next time he sees me!  Hub don't take lightly to thumpins'.  Costs me money.  We'll still be Friends though, no matter who's in front!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Later--HUBBARD

Yeah, 'er 'uh, Twolane,
Thanks for the info.  Just pulled it up.  Dry weight is absent.  And, I'll bet $1000.00, the Motor listed ain't the one in Silver-Black's new toy!  He already knows how a 103 "A" Motor runs, I know he ain't paying for a "B" Motor.  There endeth the lesson.  Later--HUBBARD

Hub

Per the TMCC specs
Dry weight is 680
Wet is 720

How does that compare my friend to the "Led Sled"?
Please advise!

I thought Maudie was that 1,000+ pound unit we were talking about awhile back. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]
