The right side of this pic shows where the creek drops off the cliff....the left side shows where it lands far, far below  (tryin to bring it to you as though you were there!)

a water shed.....where the melted snow runs down over the roof of the shed rather than across the highway....



NOTE:  This highway is straight down, no shoulders and no guard rails!  :o

It started raining just after our morning pre-ride meeting.  Rained for about half an hour or so then cleared up for the rest of the day.

A large heard of elk grazin in the grass just outside of Telluride....








Our next stop is a gondola ride to the top of the mountain.  Come on along and join us....
