Need grips. ?fly by wire or not
« on: June 11, 2015, 03:09:10 PM »

I just bought a 2014 CVO Softail deluxe. Would like to change the handgrips and wonder if it is flyby wire or cable? Appreciate any input.

Yes, you will need grips that work with the electronic throttle control system.

Throttle by-wire is what you'll need for your 2014 CVO Deluxe. Enjoy!

There is a seller in my area selling his 2015 Deluxe. This would make a good replacement for the aging CVO Convertible but the seller has large hands and replaced the smaller stock grips with larger ones. The ConV has throttle cables so I cannot use them as the 2015 Deluxe is Throttle By Wire.

Does anyone have the stock grips that would be willing to let go for a reasonable price?

Thanks,
Bob~
