Title: Tree sap?
Post by: preshundred on October 14, 2010, 11:02:55 PM
OK guys, did the search on the cleaning site and had 4 hits none of which answered the question.

Had the bike down to the Bar and after riding home after about 4 hours being under a tree found that annoying pattern of tiny dots of tree sap. What's the best way to take it off?  I just did a lengthy detail on the bike 2 days ago and I've learned my lesson on where to park it.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Have you tried washing it yet? If not that would be the first thing I did... hopefully a good car/bike wash detergent would loosen it up before it got to hard and remove it. :nixweiss:

Nope got home earlier an was gonna leave it for the AM.  I was thinking to just wash it but thought I'd ask first.  It's the notorious Candy Concord Blue and starting to realize that the clear is very sensitive to anything.  Thanks Dood.
