Anyone have a link like the one posted in the beginning of the thread that works?

It sure looks like useful information, especially if I can gain access to my specific bike. :2vrolijk_21:

I just met with a painter yesterday and was informed that H-D will not release the paint codes on CVO bikes.  I was informed that my starlight black is a mix of PPG and House of Colors and he would need to work with it.

Bottom Line - If any one has the paint code for the starlight black, please send it my way.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure House of Kolors was purchased by Valspar.

PPG sucks! While the paint attributes may be equal in many cases their paint will not necessarily match from batch to batch or from their can to your bike. PPG customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with in any industry. Their people are most uninformed. My company buys millions of dollars per year of their paint and I know first hand. If you can buy any other brand do it. Just because HD uses it does not make it the best. Remember all the cars in the 80's-90s with the paint coming off? Who do you think was the paint vendor?

Jock, did your painter use this exact paint code or a modified version?

Glad you got your top back and are happy with it. The expression on your face when you first saw it was not a happy one :soapbox:

A modified version, however it looks good in my opinion....

I trust this new storm will be relaxed to your area...keep us in touch and all the best.

The house in Kitty Hawk only got about .5" if rain.     House in Atlantic Beach got over 6" of rain though

Thanks, Maybe it's just the fact that it's not called what the MoCo calls it.

Sorry never found them. That website (that site isn't up at the moment) didn't have the identical names as the MoCo had on the spec. sheet ("Orange Pearl & Jet Black with Silver and Red Pinstriping") for the pumpkins.

Sorry to hear of your bad experience. The lady at the wharehouse I talked to was very friendly and helpful.
