I noticed the new 07 dyna screamin' eagle at the dealer has black "screamin' eagle 110" motor plates, instead of silver. Anyone know if I can order them & change them to black? I only noticed it on the dyna, but it may be on other bikes too. Small change, but I notice everything. Who has silver? Who has black? Should I keep my silver ones? What looks better?

Black: HD P/N 29517-07A ;) Hoist! 8)

Not sure of the exact date but the MoCo changed them to black on all the models.

It seems that they changed them around the time of the strike.
I'd keep the silver ones and order the black ones for about 5 bucks. If you have the silver, be sure to check your head gaskets. You probably have the old ones.

I actually like the silver on the silver engines, and the black on the black engines. JMO. ;) Hoist! 8)
