My take on  surveys is that they are using my valuable  information to increase their bottom line and I expect to be well compensated for it. Just like I tell 'em when they call me . I am a very well paid and good marketer and I bill for $500.00 per hour with a two hour minimum. Will that be Visa, Mastercard or American Express?  Then it gets very quiet on the other end on the phone....Greg

Don't know about this one but I get a survey every month from Harley. They have some kind of Advisory Panel where Harley actually gets your opinion about all kinds of things (events, designs on different things like radios, mounts, seats, grips, etc). When they were getting ready for the 105th, I had all kinds of questions about events, pricing, timing..... it's kinda cool. Very personalized from HD. Anyone else on the panel?

I would be a little leary.  Usually something for free ends up being very expensive.  Now if they want to send me the jacket first.  I would fill out a survey.  Just my take.
