Chief, I've got a week at South Shore Lake Resort in Hot Springs.  Never used my actual unit / week but have exchanged thru RCI several times.  Picked it up several years ago from friend who had acquired multiple weeks and sold one to me if I would pick up ongong maintance charges.  Pretty typical, developer makes his money upfront and then turns over to management company whose only priority is to keep maintenance fees rolling in.  I've had several offers to pick up additional weeks at South Shore for no charge - I'd just own them and be responsible for future maintenance fees.

I don't know how much it matters where you own your weeks / points if you plan to list and use RCI.

PM me if you'd like further info.
