Ah, thanks for the memories Terry.  That's back when TV was TV....none of this reality show crap...the Karcrapians, American Idull, and Jersey Shore Skanks...  They sure don't know how to do TV anymore. :-\

Yep! Some of my all time favorites! Even some of the old shows that I thought were kind of dumb are better than the crap thats on now!!

Yea, those were the days when the kid(s) in the house were the remote for Dad...you sat in the floor and changed the channel on command, and you didn't give any lip about it either.

Great shows...I could watch them over and over again.  I still watch Andy Griffith reruns on the local channel at night.  ;D

I used to rush home after school to watch The Three Stooges on the local afternoon cartoon show.  And we somehow knew better than to hit each other in the head with hammers, poke each other's eyes, or take a saw to come body part.  We had sense enough to know what was real and what was just funny chit.

In our household, we never missed a Jackie Gleason show, Bewitched, I Love Lucy, Bonanza, Rifleman, Gunsmoke, etc.  It was nightly family time...something that is missing nowadays.

was born in 1960 I remember all but 2, of course some were old repeats when I watched them though, thanks what was it  vhf channels 2-13 and in north jersey in the 60s about every other channel between 2-13 was dead.
