Title: Not a CVO owner, but a Harley rider and a good friend...
Post by: Eqcons on December 19, 2018, 04:56:03 AM
Brian Cassidy, a very dear friend of mine, and only in his early 50s, suffered a massive stroke the other week.  Having given up the stress of city life in Chicago he moved to Az., and took a simple job to make ends meet. From Karen, his wife:

"Sometime between 12/5/2018 and 12/6/2018, Brian had suffered both types of strokes,  Hemorrhagic  and Ischemic.  His right arm is paralyzed and he is unable to speak. He was flown from Arizona to the Chicago area and is rehabilitating at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, IL. His treatment consists of physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.

Costs such as flying him from Arizona for rehabilitation and  transporting  him to rehab are not  covered  by  health  insurance as well as deductible, copays and out of pocket expenses.  Brian has  a very  long  road  ahead. At this time, we are unable to determine how much he comprehends."

I hope all you good people will pray for my friend's recovery, and if anyone wants to, and is able to, contribute to Brian's rehabilitation, there's a gofundme page here:   https://www.gofundme.com/brian-cassidy-rehabilitation-fund
