Sorry to be the bearer of Gloom today, but I read this in the paper. I am sorry to say I did not know this man but I feel for him and for his family and loved ones.

Biker in fatal crash identified

A motorcyclist killed in an accident on the Moanalua Freeway near the Fort Shafter overpass has been identified as 45-year-old Blaise Villa of Honolulu, according to the Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office.

Villa was driving a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle Friday evening when he was struck by a car driven by a 49-year-old Honolulu man.

Both were in the same lane when the car began to switch lanes to the left, then suddenly veered back to the right and hit Villa, police said. The motorcycle then hit an embankment and a tree.

The death was the 27th traffic fatality of the year on O'ahu compared with 24 at the same time last year.

Another brother gone because of some idiot in a cage whata shame.  Will say a prayer for his family.

I hope they catch him/her and may he rot in jail the rest of his/her life! My thoughts are with his family. May he rest in peace knowing he died doing something he loved. Hoist! 8)

We all hate to see a fellow rider hurt or killed in an accident, but especially at the hand of some other careless driver. Our thoughts and prayers to our comrad's family.
