A motorcycle fatality took place on Panama City Beach this afternoon. I was going out of town riding in the cage and came up on the accident probably 5 minutes after it occurred. It nearly made me sick to my stomach to see the goldwing against the vehicle and then to look across the highway and see the white sheet in the road.
The news is reporting tonight that the motorcyclist ran the redlight and the bike was hit by a truck traveling thru the intersection. Both were thrown from the bike and the female passenger was then hit by another vehicle killing her. The driver of the bike is reported to be in critical condition.
My thoughts and prayers go out to their families.
