Title: Bushtec Trailer User Input Needed.
Post by: Jim on February 14, 2005, 02:52:07 PM
I would like any input you can supply with information about the quaility of Bushtec Trailers and how the bike handles towing this trailer. I think I would like to buy one but would like some input first. Thanks, Jim

The guy that invented the Bushtec is a friend, and former neighbor, of mine. I saw the prototype and most of the production when it was built in Orland, California. The trailers were top drawer and followed a bike like a puppy does his momma.

However, since he sold the company and production has moved across the country, I cannot say. However (again) I have not heard any bad press. I ride with guys that are still pulling orignals.

Kinda looks like Skooby has his aerator hooked to his trailer.
Not bad,, ride in style and aerate at the same time! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Have seen pictures of that before here or elsewhere.  Perhaps Bushtec's website?

In any case that is a really really attractive rig.  Very much something to be proud of.

You wrote that it's hit the road a lot.  Ever notice a problem in cross winds with the solid wheels?

Twolanerider,  I can't say that I really do notice a difference with solid rims.  My wife has a Heritage and I can't say there is a difference riding both bikes.  I would like to put chromed solid rims on mine next.   [smiley=laugh.gif]
