i have a o/b serg and i love it and yes it's at dealer now getting checked for wheel cracks, however
my question is every once in a while i feel a shock on my throttle hand with it touching switch housing while
under throttle pull normal riding. cannot get it to repeat on demand only happens random. i'm suspecting
a possible wire touching within drive by wire? anybody else experience this?

Do the SERGs have heated grips? If so similar problems with the heated grips have been reported occasionally. If not, than anything inside there with 12v power is the next most likely culprit.

No standard heated grips on the SERG.

Are you sure it's a shock? You wouldn't normally feel 12v unless it's been stepped up through a coil or something similar. Or in other words, I can touch both terminals of a battery and feel nothing-except maybe with my tongue-but so far it won't quite reach. :P

hotrodrick, has it thrown any codes out yet? I don't quite know how to read them myself, but the dealer can read them to see if there are any error msgs. Otherwise, I have no idea.
