Hi everyone I am looking to move up from my Dyna to a Road King and I was wondering what would be the most desirable year Road King to look out for thanks for any advise you can give me

There are different attributes lost or gained over time. What you want is dependent on which of those attributes you desire. The biggest change would be seen by many to be the new frame in 2009. ABS was an important function offered on the newer bikes also. The newer bikes also got engines that many consider to be more suspect though. Figure out what you want then plug those qualifiers in to when those desires were available.

2009 or newer.
And it just so happens #2 son just told me he is thinking about selling his. Low mileage, black, pipes, PC and fancy schmancy air cleaner.

I have a 07. If your interested message me and I'll message you the details

:confused5:
If you're looking for a Classic, I have bag liners and a chrome luggage rack (needs the docking hardware to attach) and maybe other stuff. If you happen to find an '01 RK, I have the Service Manual and Owners Manual too.

The CVO Road King

The gold 03s are much more common than either of the 02s. Lots of spare tins seen for them too. So finding one shouldn't be a huge hassle. Good luck on the search.
