Oh one more thing, we put a extra spring in to the comp as it was making a racket the likes of which have not bin heard yet. Hopefully it will play nice until the Baker comp arrives some time in May. If the release date does not get pushed again. Cheers.

Basket looks nice! Used to see Primo's a lot back in the day. We mostly use Evolution Industries here these days but that does look like a quality basket. Curious what those cost here in The States, I'll have to poke around or give them a ring. Keep us posted on how you like it. What kind of power are you putting to it? Ive heard of guys stacking the diaphragm springs on those also. Also let us know how lever pull is on high RPM shifts. Curious if you have to fight the counterweights on those kinds of shifts.

I rode my friends 2009 Street Glide with full engine work making the same power as mine  115/120  with a Primo and everything felt stock except the engagement of the clutch. It had a very positive, solid hook up as soon as the lever starts to be released. did not feel vague like the stock clutch. You can just tell it will not slip at all.  As far as shifting at high speeds and high RPM'S I did not notice any diff from stock. Clutch pull also felt the same. I hope mine will be the same. Two and a half months left before we can ride here in this god forsaken, shi--y winter season. Cheers.

Another.

Why did you eliminate the new style Torx crankshaft bolt on the compensator and use the hex head bolt?  That circumvents the oil walking up the taper to feed oil to the new oil channel perforations in the new assembly?

Your first photo looks like the newer style SE compensator and the assembled photos looks like the old style SE compensator

Just curious.  I love the looks of that clutch basket.  What is the part number?

That is a good looking clutch basket.I'm also curious about the old style bolt. It's also shorter than the torx bolt.  If you are using the newest compensator you might want to address that quickly. I'd seriously consider adding a Baker Attitude Adjuster. I  recently put them in my two bikes. You'll be glad you did. I wouldn't worry about the cost of a primary gasket in your decision. Those OEM gaskets are quite robust. I've used the same one for the last 5 times I've pulled my primary cover. No leaks.

Man you guy's have eagle eye's.  In the last 3 weeks my builder did 2 complete engine builds ( crank out ) and installed 4 Baker Plus one oil pans, and 2 Primo clutches.  The two clutches were on my bike and a 2011 being done at the same time.  He forgot to take a pick of my bike with the clutch installed and the primary cover off. So he took a pick of the 2011 as the clutch is the same.  So my has black cover with the Aim see through clutch cover and the torx bolt is in there.  Raph is no longer ordering HD comp's for people, every one is waiting for the Baker. He has 10 on order.  So we will all be noisy until they arrive. We added a extra spring in to my SE comp to see what happens. My comp is the loudest I have ever heard. Has about 5000 km on it.  I will be going with the baker chain adjuster.  Cheers.
