Company profits on chrome were thin last year. Primer bikes means you get to pick the color and HD gets to charge $$$$$$$$
Oh, and the guy that changed your oil will now paint the bike.

I dont get it , I want this bike as much as the next guy,but all I read is horror stories about the 110......but yet there are gonnna be people lined up to by this thing...just my opinion, ,headpan

Lots of bad episodes.  That is for sure.  It's come up elsewhere, however, but at least anecdotally it still seems that the last two or three months of production haven't been dropping like the prior production did.  Pay close attention to more current bikes.  Perhaps evidence will suggest they actually got a handle on it.  If so 09 may not be the crap shoot that common perceptions makes it out to be.

I have a 110 - had the dreaded head gasket problem - fixed it and moved on...  I would buy another.  Like TwoLane said, the more recent 110's seem to be more reliable.  And if not, it is not a mystery as to how to fix the problem.  It's not likely I would leave the motor alone anyway - problem or not.
