Recieved two contour windshields from Cee Bailys yesterday. 14" Dark tint and a 15" light tint also there new hardware kit and installation intructions, The new kit makes it very easy to install and the instructions are easy to follow. Install the 14" dark tint first.

Time for the ride. I am 6.1" maybe a tad taller with a 31" inseam, sit a little taller than most in the stock saddle. I can see over this shield in riding postion about 50 ft in front of the bike, very comfortalble for me as I do not like looking thru a shield. The ride went great. No eye glass buffetting, just a little wind past the ears but very livable. Had it up to 80 and I have to say this one for me is a keeper, keep in mind I do not like to look thru a shield ! Had some wind coming from the sides of the fairing that I have always had on the RGs This shield is better than any lower cut shield I have used to date period.  On to the 15" Lt. Tint.

Install and fit was perfect as on the 14" dark tint, this 15" Lt. Tint is also very good looking.

it measures 12 1/2" and I can still see over it.

Both shields have a slight recuve at the top, the 15" gives more wind protection but is in my line of sight just being able to see over this one in my riding position it is Lt tint and has very good optics so I can live with this one also , again no eye glass buffetting on this shield either less wind thru the ears also. I would like to state that I have nothing to do with Cee Bailys and am not paid for my reviews I bought these shields like you all have to do. In my honest option these shields are hard to beat, are very handsome on the bikes and offer more wind protection than any other low or contourd shields I have tried so far.  Thanks Doc

Have to clean them up today. and get some very good riding in finally, the wait was worth it. For those looking for a lot of wind protection Cee Bailys also offers the full line of touring shiels for the 09 SERG to go with the stock gasket (seal). Doc

Thank you for the pictures and good write up on both the shields.

I am now really thinking the Cee Baily is the shield for my SERG when it gets here this month.

I am 6"1 with a 34 inseam so I am thinking the 14 would be correct for me.  I like to look just barely over the top of a wind shield.

Both look real good.  I do like the dark tint a little better.  However I think the lite tint might be the better choice espeically at night.
