Topic: Question about VIN on Ebay for 2007 FLHRSE (Read 801 times)

Im was perusing Ebay and say a 2007 with the following VIN: 1HD1PCX357Y955***.
All documentation and manuals shows that it should be 1HD1 PG 8. PG =FLHRSE, 8=110" motor. I questioned the guy and he says its correct.
then I ran it through the HD site and it was invalid.

Personally I think he can not read the numbers correctly.

Try asking him for a picture of the VIN tag on the neck of the bike.

either I need new glasses or that is way to blured to read.

It's those funny characters, The G is hard to distinguish between a c and the 8 look like X. I typed in his VIN on the HD site and it's invalid. I changed it it PG8 and it is valid. I emailed him back to go to the HD site and do what i did. Just trying to help the guy.
