None taken Spider.  Neal's little project there is very very nice indeed.  Kind of a SEEG King.  It'll be sweet.

Just glad it's not an Ultra Classic Road King-ey Glide.  That'd be not so good.

Now, those pics have me thinking about some more $'s. Just relocate the turn front turn signals and mount mirrors on the fairing, and re-install tach somewhere, oil press and oil temp gauges in fairing.......hmmmm.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I bought the Hoppe fairing because I felt more confortable with the metal brackets, but Dragonfly makes a nice tach relocation brakt that clamps to the speedo. I bought one of those for my tach. Ridden 35,000 miles on two different 03 SERKs without any other guages, I'm good.

Yeah, the 2" tach may work installed the fairing, but it's not supposed to work with FLHRS-series. Hopefully the wiring is pretty straightforward, MOCO doesn't always follow logic in that regard. But relocating the existing tach with a quick disconnect and the bracket may be the way to go. I like to see both oil pressure and temperature as far as supplemental info., but hey that's just me  ::)

if you relocate the tach to the tank console or replace the spedo with a como unit there are lots of options for 2" guages to do oil pressure and temp
i htink the FLHRS note is because of the mini deflector on an RK Custom not for wiring reasons
