I,d like to know this as well..I would say 1200 units or less each color. Not sorry I purchase the 09 road glide all my multi day,states road trips are done on my 04 seeg it,s set up the best for the long hauls. I have a blast on the roadglide for the weekends--AK

Only 3000 SERG's were made. 1000 of each color.

In december 08 they cut remaining production in half. so less than 1000 each color.

Just an unofficial observation is there appears that:

1) orange is the most popular color on the site
2) silver is second
3) yellow is third

If they only made 1000 Orange S/E's than about half of them must be in the Dayton, Ohio area. The dealer I bought mine from has sold three, all orange.

Orange was the first production color. When they ran out of the fast motors they continued with silver... then yellow...If there were a 2010 it would probably have an 888 motor i would think...

I was in Sturgis and I must have seen 30 or more O/B, maybe 4 yellow and just one silver. Is it possible there weren't an equal number of each made? Pehaps H/D thought the O/B would be a bigger seller and made more of them.

There was a post somewhere about a month or so ago by a guy that said he was at the York plant on a tour and all they were producing was o/b. I would say that they made more o/b than the other colors because those were the best sellers. T.

I see way more silver and fewer OB and yellows here in Wisconsin. I think it there may be regional differences in distribution of colors.

I'll take a dozen right now..! We have a new yellow and a new silver on the dealer floor. can't get an OB...none left. I think they were the first in the production run. I have personally only seen one other OB in my area...

I asked this question a couple weeks ago and got no replies,so I found out for myself,If anybody cares There were 1344 Silver,1554 Orange and 491 yellow SERGs produced in 2009. There were also a few special color one produced according to mocoo

I recieved the info from customer service at MOCO.I would be interested on the numbers you have as I was told original they were only going to produce 3000. I also found it interesting that there were a few made in a different color all together.I didn't ask what that color was.

Dave there were 3792 worldwide with 2891 domestic,3 different color combinations and some with a special color.These numbers include the ones made for California Hope this is what you needed Randy

Don't put too much faith in the statistics provided by the MoCO either. That scanned letter from Customer Service is incorrect regarding the 2004 FLHTCSE production colors. The Yellow Pearl/Platinum Mist color was not even offered until the 2005 model year. The second color for the 2004 model year was Orange Pearl/Jet Black.

That typo was corrected in the thread I got the letter from. I was just showing it as an example of what MANY other owners have gotten. Where did Randy get the numbers?? I only care about ALL numbers (worldwide) for the data base I have been working on. Owners want to know how their bike stacks up, and I like to have the answer.

up here in canada there are 65-grey, 32-yellow and 127 orange for a total of 224 in canada. i did checkwith deelys canada and they informed me there were 1480 in orange world wide. if thats any interest to anyone.

Barring some very specific and very verifiable documentation that generic "few in other colors" reference for CVO production doesn't pass the sniff test. CVO bikes are are significantly defined by their paint. Variations diminish the effort. "Other color" CVO bikes have always been home-brewed examples. Some very very well done (like Chuck's SEUC or Geezer's SEEG-Road Glide) but home brews nonetheless.

It's a bit time consuming

but doesn't need to be done over night. When I did the registry's for 2000 & 2001 SERG'S I started the registry thread and asked those that own one to let you know what color they have, I then started a list (after you finish the first post in the new thread make a second post right away and just save it to edit as names come in)in the second post of the colors and added names as I found them under the appropriate column. Each time you get a new name you can go to the second post and by hitting the edit icon just add the names. The time consuming part was not all the owners will respond to your new thread, that is when I started going through different threads (ie: Show Us Your Road Glide - any thread that is model specific) and started filling in names that were missed.
If you need any advise as you go I will see if I can help you out.

I would be interested in what you paid for it. I was there last year about this time and they wanted $36,000 for an O/B one. Am I to assume the price dropped? I also noticed they had a lot less inventory then my previous visits.

They had two O/B left from an original six. It was just a fluke that I checked their inventory. I had given up on the idea long ago. A friend and I bought them in a two bike deal with no trades. I think that helped with the price. It seemed Barnett just thought it was time for them to go. We paid $28,000 + TTL. Drive out was just under $30K. We flew out on a Friday, picked them up and rode them back to San Antonio over the weekend. The weather was perfect; it was a memorable little adventure.

[Supposed to be 3500 each] I heard that the orange was the most popular and the yellow was the least and that the company made more orange then the other colors. Seems the most popular colors were 1-orange, 2-silver, and 3-yellow and if the yellow was the least popular the production could have been reduced, and increased on the other colors. Heard rumors and thought someone with more knowledge might set me straight. Thanks
