I went by my local dealer this afternoon and told him I had a friend looking for a FLTRSE in Yellow ... he pulled a dealer locator for the entire US and told me there were around 40 B/O still available ...27 S/B ...and only 12 Y/B ...either the Bananna's were produced in lower numbers or they sold a lot faster then the other colors ofcourse I can see why

....just thought some might find this interesting.

I was originally told there were an equal number of each color, 1000 each. From what I have seen there are far more of the orange than the silver and yellow combined. At Sturgis I saw at least 30 orange, 4 yellow and only one silver. Even at the dealers I'm still seeing the orange. If anyone is looking for one in Canada there is still one at Kane's in Kelowna, BC. They are only asking $45,200 CAN.

Seems logical...Produce more of the faster orange and less of the slower colors...If any one does have the illusion that color will affect collectability...I guess Orange and Black is the truest Harley Davidson color combination...My God It is like flying the American Flag while eating apple pie...Not a... Lemon cupcake!
